Methods to Improve System Identification in a Human-Exoskeleton System

چکیده
Robotic assistive devices have been proposed as a costeffective, repeatable alternative to conventional physical therapy. Recent successes in rehabilitative robotics for poststroke gait therapy [1] are due to a focus on the patient’s active engagement in the therapy. One quantitative measure of active engagement, muscle activity, is a highly non-linear signal that varies greatly between subjects. Therefore, devices which target that measure would benefit from a personalized, adaptive strategy, which does not rely on assumptions of how the patient population interacts with that device.

Effect of Target Impedance Selection on the Lower Extremity Assistive Exoskeleton Performance
Exoskeletons are utilized extensively in robotic rehabilitation and power augmentation purposes. One of the most recognised control algorithms utilized in this field is the impedance controller. Impedance control approach provides the capability of realizing different rehabilitation exercises by tuning the target impedance gains. Trial and error experimental approach is one of the most common m...
متن کاملControl and system identification for the Berkeley lower extremity exoskeleton (BLEEX)
The Berkeley lower extremity exoskeleton (BLEEX) is an autonomous robotic device whose function is to increase the strength and endurance of a human pilot. In order to achieve an exoskeleton controller which reacts compliantly to external forces, an accurate model of the dynamics of the system is required. In this report, a series of system identification experiments was designed and carried ou...

Introduction: The aim of this study was to identify and rank the factors affecting the acceptance of the hospital information system by network analysis process in the hospital. Materials and Methods: The method of this study was descriptive-exploratory. The statistical population included all nurses (500 people) and IT staff (7 people) of Golestan Hospital in Ahvaz (Iran) that 217 nurses were...

متن کاملSingle-input adaptive fuzzy sliding mode control of the lower extremity exoskeleton based on human–robot interaction
This article introduces a human–robot interaction controller toward the lower extremity exoskeleton whose aim is to improve the tracking performance and drive the exoskeleton to shadow the wearer with less interaction force. To acquire the motion intention of the wearer, two subsystems are designed: the first is to infer the wearer is in which phase based on floor reaction force detected by a m...
